A little about me...
bio
I was born and raised in the beautiful Laurel Highlands in Central Pennsylvania. Growing up I always dreamed of being a broadcaster after watching one of my role models on tv during the morning news. Up to this day, she is still my mentor and the reason I pursued this industry.
I attended Clarion University in Clarion, Pennsylvania in August of 2009. There, I was a weekly news anchor, reporter, weather analyst, and director for 3.5 years, where I was able to graduate a semester early.
In the Spring 2012, I earned the opportunity to intern with NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams in New York City.
After New York City, I moved back to Pennsylvania where I received my first television job as a photographer at WTAJ. Following that, I came to the midwest to report and anchor for KOAM & Fox 14 News in Joplin, Missouri. As a fill in anchor and reporter, I also developed skills in producing newscasts. I fell in love with being a producer while filling in on weekend shows. In 2014, I accepted a job back in my hometown for WJAC as their 5 p.m. producer. Within several months, I took over as the overnight/sunrise producer.
In October 2015, I accepted a position at KTUL-TV 'Tulsa's Channel 8', and now serve as a morning producer.
In my spare time I enjoy staying active and enjoying all Tulsa has to offer. I also enjoy spending time exploring our downtown area. I am a happy dog owner of Suzie, my adopted beagle/basset hound mix.
